I want to explain the Release forms. YOU CAN FIND LINKS TO PRINT BOTH FORMS DIRECTLY BELOW THIS BOX.

The 2008 General Release Form will be sufficient for all the 2008 in state, one-day activities. This form does not need to be notarized. You will not need to fill it out again until January 2009.

The Assumption of Risk/liability Waiver must be filled out for each overnight event. This form must be notarized. Debbie Jones in the church office is a notary. This form must be filled out for each and every overnight activity.

WELCOME TO GRAY ROAD STUDENT MINISTRIES

Student Ministries can be one of the most important and dynamic ministries in an entire church. Young minds are fertile soil to plant the seed of God's amazing truth and that is our purpose here at Gray Road Baptist Church. We desire to assist parents in raising their students in the nurturing and admonition of the Lord. Our youth staff is committed to teaching Biblical truth through a clear explanation of the Scriptures, exemplary living and service. If you desire for your student to be in a place where God is honored and His Word is cherished, I invite you visit the youth ministry here at Gray Road.
Though the Scriptures are central to our ministry, we also believe in the importance of having a great time together. This is why we have activities going on throughout the year like camping trips, ski trips, harvest parties and overtimes. We believe that activities are a crucial part of the ministry as it allows us to bond with our students. If you have any questions, please contact me.

DIRECTOR OF STUDENT MINISTRIES

My name is Steven Smith and I am the Director of Student Ministries at Gray Road Baptist Church. This is my wife Andrea and my little boy Zeke. Andrea and I have been married over three years now and we have a one year old son. Andrea is currently studying to be a nurse, while I am working on my Masters of Divinity at Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
We are extremely excited about the opportunity to serve the Lord in this capacity. We believe that God is able to do great things through the ministry of His Word. I am committed to doing Student Ministry God's way. Andrea and I desire to be sincere, godly leaders for those who God brings our way. Please feel free to contact me for any reason at all.
