Weekend Program for Preschoolers

On Sunday mornings, we offer Jr.KIDS Church programming for all pre-schoolers. If you choose, you may drop off your child in the Children’s Wing, attend Sunday Bible Study of your choice, stay through the main Worship Service and relax, knowing that your child will receive quality Bible training and attention all morning long. Each child will have lots of fun singing songs, interacting with other children and adults, and learning age-appropriate Bible stories.

Weekend Program for Elementary Students

On Sunday mornings throughout the school year, children in school grades 1-5 are dismissed from the AM service about 30 minutes after it begins, so that they may attend a fun learning environment in the gymnasium just for them - KIDS Church! "KIDS" stands for "Kids In Divine Service." The goal of KIDS Church is to Reach Kids, Teach Kids, and Train Kids to love God with all their hearts. Getting them involved while they are young is the key. “If we can successfully help children decide in grades 1-5 that serving Christ and others is for them, then, when they enter into Middle School and High School, they will be less likely to become passive Christians.”

We also acknowledge the importance of families worshiping together and see great value when the entire family unites together under the preaching and teaching of our senior pastor. During our brief summer and winter breaks, we encourage families to sit together in our worship services, and we provide children's worship bulletins to encourage the children to engage in the service.

We know that Jesus cares for children. Our very favorite verse is where Jesus said "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Mark 10:14).

Children's Ministry Overview

Your children matter to you, to God, and to us. Our faithful team of volunteer workers serves each week so that your child can learn Bible truths in an environment of love and acceptance, and be challenged to always love and serve the Lord. At Gray Road, programs are offered for children and young adults during Sunday services and MIDWEEK in five distinct age groups:
Infants & Toddlers Birth – 24 months
Preschoolers Age 2 – Kindergarten
Elem. Students
Grades 1-5
Middle School Grades 6-8
High School Grades 9-12

	Infants & Toddlers
	During all Sunday services and special events, and during our Wednesday evening small group sessions, loving care is provided for newborn to 24-month-old children by qualified caregivers in our beautiful Children's Wing.

Midweek Children's Program

The goal of our children’s midweek ministry “is to fuel spiritual desire in children by exalting the greatness and worth of God and His glorious work through Christ.” Our midweek children’s ministry uses curriculum from Children Desiring God. Children Desiring God will begin August 27, 2008. There is no registration required for this program. Contact Stacy if you have questions.

Children ages Pre-K3 through Kindergarten will be studying God’s greatness in “He Established a Testimony.” They meet in the Children’s Wing at 7pm each Wednesday.

Children in grades 1-5 will be studying the book of Proverbs and other Bible passages to contrast the way of the foolish with “The Way of the Wise.” They meet in the Fellowship Hall at 7pm each Wednesday.
